Enjoy more time with family and friends this holiday and order with us. This year we are offering four different tamales, ready-to-heat enchiladas, pozole, carnitas, cactus salad, and a new item, pastes, which we will be making at Zapapizza and baking in our pizza ovens there.
Pastes are a traditional pastry from Hidalgo where Cornish miners brought their taste of the pasty (English empanada) to the mountain mining towns. Mexicans then filled them with their favorite guisados and called them “pastes”.
Azucena, born and raised in Oaxaca, makes every tamal by hand using fresh corn nixtamal. Janet and David, from Jalisco, make the pozole and carnitas the way their families have for generations. Have some real Mexican cooking this holiday.
